- 12AB/80G renewal pending? If your Form 10AB renewal was filed by 30 September 2025 and is still pending, no blanket statutory provision grants automatic continuation during pendency, and the Department has not issued any general validity extension. The risk is especially acute for 80G, where donations made after certificate expiry are not eligible for deduction. See the recommended steps

The Central Government notified the central rules under all four Labour Codes on 8th May 2026, completing the rules formulation process. Three of the four — Code on Wages, Social Security, and OSHWC — are directly applicable to nonprofits, and nonprofits are advised to begin compliance immediately.
