A quick roundup of compliance updates this week:

  • Reminder: Form 10BD due 31 May 2026
If your NGO has 80G registration, you must file Form 10BD (Statement of Donation) for FY 2025-26 by 31 May 2026. Start compiling your donor data now -- missing the deadline attracts a penalty. View template & checklist
  • New TDS payment codes under the Income Tax Act 2025
From 1 April 2026, TDS challans and returns must use new 4-digit numeric codes under the Income Tax Act 2025. If you are filing TDS for April 2026, make sure you are using the right codes for salary, contractor payments, professional fees, and rent. View the full list
  • Proposed CSR changes in Companies Amendment Bill 2026
The Companies Amendment Bill 2026 is currently with a Joint Parliamentary Committee. Several changes to CSR provisions have been proposed -- including revisions to the net profit threshold for applicability and to committee requirements. These are proposals only, not yet law. View details
