FCRA Registration Validity Pending Renewals has been extended?

Hello Friends,

Yes. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has extended the validity of FCRA registration certificates (CoR) till 30th June 2025 for organisations whose renewal applications are still pending.

This applies ONLY if:

  • Your organisation had a valid FCRA registration as on 30th September 2020, and
  • You applied for renewal before the expiry date, and
  • Your renewal is still under process by the MHA.

What this means:

  • If your organisation meets the above conditions, the extension applies automatically. No separate application is needed for this extension.
  • Such organisations can continue to receive and use foreign contributions until 30th June 2025 or until their renewal is decided, whichever is earlier.
